FLOATING THE JURAMENTO RIVER
3 full days of fishing
This program consists of three days of floats on the Juramento River and includes all meals, drinks (during dinners and fishing days), transfers to and from the river, fishing permits and accommodation at our base in comfortable rooms with 4 beds per room, bathroom with hot water and air conditioning. This program is based on a double or multiple of 2, that is, 2, 4 or 6 fishermen.
Fishing season:
From February 15 to November 16.
Program
1st DAY
Arrival at the base review of equipment and dinner.
2nd DAY
Breakfast and transfer to the river to start the float at noon lunch on the river in the afternoon return to the base and dinner.
3rd DAY
Breakfast and transfer to the river to start the float at noon lunch on the river in the afternoon return to the base and dinner.
4th DAY
Breakfast and transfer to the river to start the float at noon lunch on the river in the afternoon return to the base and dinner.
5th DAY
Breakfast and transfer to the airport or terminal, end of the program.

Equipment:
Fishing
- #7 or #9 rod (plus one spare) for the Juramento River
- Rod #6 or #7 (plus one spare) for the Rio Dorado
- Tropical Floating Lines
(RIO Outbound Tropical series, Scientific Anglers Frequency Magnum, Cortland Precision SL Big Fly or similar - Lines with taper that facilitate casting bulky flies) - Optional intermediate or sinking lines
- Weighted flies with lead eyes attached to 1/0 or 2/0 hooks, about 10 cm long
Surface flies such as mice and the like are also used here. (Flies can also be purchased directly from the guide) - 0.40 mm and 0.50 mm nylon to make leaders.
- 20 lbs or 30 lbs steel cable (make it soft to tie)
- Cable cutting pliers
- Lead ammunition to ballast the flies in case they are not
Dress
Long-sleeved shirt (quick-drying if possible) / Long pants or leggings that are comfortable for walking / Wading boots and neoprene socks or similar (we need to protect the ankles and walk comfortably) / Polarized sunglasses / Hat or cap to protect ourselves from the sun / Scarf or similar to protect us from insects. / Gloves (if used) / Insect repellent / Sunscreen / Rain jacket / It is necessary to carry a backpack of about 30 liters to be able to transport our food and drinks during the excursion.
